COVID-19 Pandemic 2020
Just when the trekkingseason started in March 2020, it was suddenly stopped by Corona pandemic.
A country-wide lockdown came into effect on 24 March 2020.
All international flights were stopped and vehicular movement on long routes were closed.
Nepal Tourism Board announced the suspension of issuance of trekking permits.
